Muscabus Discrimination Policy New Freedom Expanded Bus Service Poliza De La Discriminacion De Muscabus RIDING INFORMATION: Rides cost 75 cents each. Transfers are free. Children under 5 ride free. Ticket sheets consist of 12 tickets and cost $8.25, monthly flash passes cost $ 28.00. For locations shown on the maps as “on-request”, call to schedule rides, or ask your driver for the route to continue to that location. Service Animals are allowed on the bus; for safety reasons, other animals are not. All MuscaBus services are open to the general public including persons with disabilities. No service is provided on these holidays: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. FOR MORE INFORMATION CALL (563) 263 - 8152 (voice/TDD). The Transit Division is operated with eleven (11) small buses, which are all equipped with wheelchair lifts. Personnel supporting the system are a full-time supervisor, two (2) part-time dispatchers, 21 part-time drivers, and one part-time vehicle service worker. The system consists of three (3) fixed routes, (4) fixed routes during the weekdays from 11:40 AM until 3:40 PM, for the general public, a paratransit system for senior citizens and the disabled; and an evening service for individuals to travel to employment and employment-related destinations. “New Freedom” bus service is also available on Tuesday and Thursdays evenings from 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM. In January 2010, MuscaBus added service to and from Wilton twice daily. |
