The City of Muscatine offers a "curbside" program for the disposal of larger items such as an appliance or a piece of furniture. To arrange for a pickup, please call (563) 263-9689 at least one day before the regularly scheduled garbage day. Residents are allowed up to three (3) curbside pickups a year. Appliances, tires, and electronic waste must be prepaid, before they will be picked up. Also offered in the spring is an annual clean up week. Items that would normally require a call for curbside pickup may be placed out on the curb on the regular collection day. This week is usually the last week of April. Details are posted on the City of Muscatine Website in late March- early April. |
