Sewer Separation – Contract 1
General Information - This project comprises general construction of approximately 4400’ of new dual box culverts; 24”, 36”, 42”, 48”, 60” round storm sewer pipe; 42” arch and 48” arch storm sewer extending from the slough past Bond and Taylor Streets to Busch Street along and Mill Street and extending up Main Street just south of Hershey Avenue. Work also includes new inlets, inlet piping, outfall structure and dredging at the slough, raising Bond and Taylor Street profile, junction structures, pavement replacement as needed to install the sewer with some full width pavement replacement on Main. The second lift of asphalt was placed on the trail, and it is finished. The area known as Taylor Field will get some topsoil and re-seeding to make it suitable for ball games. Hoffman has plans for getting the ladder and hatch hinge repaired this week. Sulzberger has volunteered to loosen the base of the ladder, which is under slough level, so Hoffman can install the rung treads.
