| What does the Public Works Buildings and Grounds do? |

We provide maintenance for many City-owned buildings and grounds which include City Hall, Public Safety Building, South Fire Station, Library, Art Center and Museum, the Public Works Building, and certain maintenance functions at the Municipal Airport. |
| How do I obtain a building permit? |

Building & Zoning and Code Enforcement is a separate department and handles all building, electrical, plumbing, and other similar permits. Their office is located at City Hall, 215 Sycamore Street. Their phone number is 563-262-4141. |
| How do I get on the Buildings and Grounds bid list? |
| |
Currently we purchase all supplies through the Bi-State joint purchasing program. |
