Facility Request Form

Kent Stein Park contains a total of 66 acres and adjoins an 11 acre slough. The park facilities include nine (9) lighted softball diamonds, eight (8) lighted baseball diamonds, and nine (9) lighted horseshoe courts. Available in the park are restroom facilities, two concession stands, picnic areas and fishing in the slough. Diamond scheduling for games, tournaments, camps and clinics may be requested on a one day less than a year basis. Exceptions will be made for national, regional, and state events. Kent Stein Park plays host to events sponsored by national, state, and local associations involving participants of all ages. Tournaments, games, practices, camps, and clinics are welcome.

To ensure a quality leisure experience, we ask that all teams and guests be aware of the following guidelines:

::	Groups wishing to make reservations for practice sessions may do so as early as the Friday prior to the week of the requested practice. Diamond reservations for a prepared diamond must be made by 11:00 a.m. of the preceding day during normal business hours Monday-Friday.
::	The City reserve the right to postpone or cancel play with minimal notice due to rain, frost, or other conditions that cause excessive wear to facilities.
::	There are two (2) fully equipped concession stands located in the park. Selling of any commodities is prohibited without prior approval of the Parks and Recreation Department staff.
::	Parking in designated areas only. Please do not park on grass of landscaped areas.
::	Alcohol is not allowed in the park or in the adjoining parking areas.
::	Charges may be made on a per hour, per field, per day basis. Special event rates are available. Please contact the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department for specific fee rates.
